Hoping Stretch Mark Creams Really Work
Posted on October 9th, 2009 byWhen I was pregnant I was paranoid about getting stretch marks and it turns out I had reason to be. My mother got them badly when she was pregnant and so did my older sister. I guess you can say I was genetically predisposed to getting stretch marks, but I had no idea I would get them to this extent. They are deep purplish grooves that I am told will fade somewhat over time. However, they are scars and they will never completely go away unless I have some sort of plastic surgery. I can assure you I kept my skin adequately moisturized and my body well hydrated during my pregnancy. They say this reduces the impact of the skin stretching and if that is true, then I can only imagine how things would have turned out had I not done that much. There are many creams for stretch marks available on the Internet and all promise dramatic improvement in reducing the appearance of these grotesque reminders of my inflated belly, but I am not sure if they really work to get rid of them for good. It has really gotten me down, so I may go ahead and give Trilastin a whirl. All of the best stretch mark creams have a money back guarantee so at least if it turns out to be a bust I won’t be out anything substantial. And you never know, maybe they are the real deal after all.
