Outdoor Lighting Timers Make Life A Bit Easier
Posted on October 26th, 2009 byIf you’ve installed landscape lighting or outdoor lighting in your home, you know that it can be a pain to constantly turn on and off this lighting manually. An outdoor lighting timer makes things a bit easier in that it works automatically. You simply plug in the timer into an outside light socket and then set your timer so that the lights will receive power during the time frame you are wanting. Most homes will set these timers to begin around dusk and then shut off sometime during the middle of the night. Many times though, for safety and security reasons, it might make sense to set the timer to go all the way through the night until dawn. If your house stays lit, it may keep intruders from wanting to snoop around your home. These outdoor timers are very inexpensive and can be purchased at many online or retail stores for less than 15 dollars.
